I'm Jason from Boston Massachusetts and new to Phoenix Arizona. In my earlier years my older brother was a bodybuilder from the golden era that would bring me to the gym with him. I would sit on the floor watching these guys train and think how cool it was. My brother tried training me as a out of shape boy. It just didn't stick and fast forward to the mid 90's and Bill Phillips was doing the Body for Life competition.
In 1995/96 I was in culinary school. I was eating all day long gained 80 pounds on my frame and decided to enter this competition for Body for Life. I hired my own trainer to teach and coach me in that process. At 21 I got into my best shape ever. That particular contest was for the public and Bill Phillips wanted to take getting into that kind of shape off a stage and into the public.
From when I was a kid to that point felt like it was home being in a gym, the environment and living my best life in a stronger body. I've experienced all the ups and downs that we all face with personal health and staying in shape from that time frame to the now! That's a fast forward 23 yrs later.
In that time I have personally tried and implemented different styles of eating with workouts and life. I've tried different training styles and do my own training in blocks myself such as 8, 10 and 12 weeks. I use periodic training and divide my time up into three types of cycles. I also believe in the power of intermittent fasting as a life style. My style and my foundation is definitely bodybuilding and conditioning with incorporating other methodologies to produce the desired outcome. I can work for the seasoned health enthusiast/bodybuilder to the average guy/gal looking to be in better shape.
With adding Athletic Movements incorporating Bodybuilding/Physique training to bring out conditioning along with nutritional coaching is my own style and I can work with some populations that have some medical conditions and limiting physical conditions as well such as asthma, learning disabilities, arthritis, knee injuries ect...
I can keep you going with a life plan and a foundation that will stick and I can teach you how to incorporate that into you're busy life. There is always a way, there are options. I'm very good at program design and nutritional coaching. I have experienced all of it and I can change those obstacles for you. Even if you are experienced and need to step up you're training, I can help. Maybe you have injuries such as shoulder or low back or knee and it is keeping you from staying active or you don't know how to work around those or you just keep going and aggravating the issue because you're missing something in you're routine. I like the analogy of getting a second opinion such as going to a specialist for a doctor or mechanic that specialize in a particular model car. I don't understand how a person can also be so fit at one time but for years thought to stay in shape they have to eat 5 meals a day or you have to train 6 days a week for 2 hours. I am realistic, organized, educated and experienced and as long as you follow my programs I can almost guarantee success in you're physical and mental stature that will carry over into you're personal life.
Whether it is general conditioning or wanting to just feel better in you're physical health and spiritual. Or you want to drop dress sizes for you ladies or fit back into those slimmer jeans for you guys! Maybe you want to be stronger? Or perhaps you have a set wedding date and need to be in shape in a certain time frame such as 12 wks?
